A softly diffused shading technique that reshapes the hairline as a whole — reframing the forehead, correcting an uneven or receding line, and adding overall density. The lowest-maintenance of the three techniques. Can also be used to visually lower a high hairline.

The forehead and hairline area sees regular sun exposure and skin renewal, so retention is shorter than for eyebrow or eyeliner PMU. Touch-ups can extend the result, and color fades gradually rather than disappearing abruptly.
