Combo Brows
A soft, powdered gradient — light at the front, deeper at the tail. No individual strokes; instead, a diffused finish that mimics brow makeup. The most durable technique, and the easiest to maintain over years.
Nanoblading
Ultra-fine single-needle strokes, thinner and more controlled than standard microblading. Delivers the most delicate, realistic hair simulation available — especially suited to thin or mature skin where precision matters most.

What clients ask most.
Microblading uses a manual handheld tool with multiple small blades to draw hair-like strokes into the skin's upper layers. Nanoblading uses an ultra-fine single needle to create thinner, more controlled strokes — the most delicate and realistic hair simulation available. Nanoblading is especially suited to thin, mature, or sensitive skin where standard microblading can spread or blur. Both techniques are performed in a single session at Sunny PMU in Hongdae.
Eyebrow PMU at Sunny PMU starts from ₩250,000. The exact price depends on which of the four techniques you choose — microblading, nanoblading, ombre powder brows, or combination brows — and the complexity of the design. The procedure is performed personally by founder Sunny Kwak and takes 2 to 3.5 hours including consultation and design.
Eyebrow PMU typically lasts 1 to 3 years depending on technique, skin type, and aftercare. Microblading and nanoblading fade faster on oily skin, around 12 to 18 months. Ombre powder brows and combination brows retain longest — up to 3 years — and are recommended for clients seeking durable results. All techniques fade gradually rather than disappearing abruptly. A retouch is included at 4 to 6 weeks after the initial procedure.
Most clients describe eyebrow PMU as mild to moderate discomfort, similar to eyebrow tweezing. A topical numbing cream is applied before and during the procedure to minimize sensation. Sunny Kwak holds the US AAM Pain Control Safety certification — among the first PMU artists in Korea to hold this credential — and the same pain control protocol is applied across all procedures at Sunny PMU.
Eyebrow PMU is generally not recommended for people who are pregnant or breastfeeding, have keloid-prone skin, are taking blood thinners, have active skin conditions such as eczema or psoriasis at the brow area, or have had recent filler in the forehead. A pre-procedure consultation is required to confirm suitability. Consultation is paid and requires advance booking.
